CYNTHIA LEE STEVENS

 Cynthia Lee Stevens, 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Burlington House Nursing Home. Cynthia was born in Covington, Ky., on January 31, 1952, a daughter of the late Jean (McGraw) Purcell and Harry Purcell Jr. She was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1970. Cindy married Nelson R. “Nick” Stevens on January 18, 1975, at Aurora Church of Christ. Cindy and Nick were married nearly 49 years until her passing. She formerly worked as a project manager for Cincinnati Bell, retiring in 2000. Cindy always loved to be active until declining health prevented that. She enjoyed aerobics and going for long runs. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
 Cynthia is survived by her husband Nelson “Nick Stevens of Cincinnati; by her daughter Stephanie Blevins of Bridgetown, Ohio; by her son Kristopher Stevens and wife Sarah of Cincinnati; by her stepdaughter Rhonda Knue and husband Doug of Mason, Ohio; by her grandchildren, Morgan Case, Madison Case and Lindsey Blevins; and by her stepgrandchildren, Chloe Knue, Grant Knue and Tanner Knue. Cynthia is also survived by a sister Cheryl Swanson and husband Reynold of Mansfield, Ohio; by her brothers, David Purcell and wife Betty, of Birmingham, Ala.; John Purcell and wife Tina of Warren, Ind., and Michael Purcell and wife Suzanne of South Carolina; and by many nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
 Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, Ind., with Bill Madison officiating. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 18 at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
