Charles Wayne Redding, 42, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away August 1, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Charlie was born on November 4, 1981, a son of Phoebe and Vernon Swango. Charlie attended school at Delta High School, Delaware County, Ind. He worked in construction laying flooring. Charlie was a big family man and found his greatest joy in spending time with his fiancée, children, and other family members.
 Charlie is survived by his parents, Phoebe and Vernon Swango of Switzerland County, Ind.; fiancée Dina Daugherty of Lawrenceburg; sons James Redding and Leon Redding; stepchildren Abigail Redding and Tyler Redding; brother Jerry Redding of Versailles, Ind.; stepbrothers James Swango and Vernon Swango Jr. of Kentucky; as well as his nieces and nephews.
 Visitation will be held at Markland Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
