Cathleen “Nana” Eaglin, 73, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023. She was born April 15, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Edwards) Neary.

Cathy was a lifelong faithful member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She liked to travel and go boating. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being “Nana.” She treasured her Sunday drives. She worked in cancer research as a clinical coordinator at the University of Cincinnati.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Eaglin of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; two daughters, Kelly Beer of Boston, Massachusetts, Kristy (Rick) Brennan of Cincinnati, Ohio; stepdaughter, Angie (Kent) Buckley of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Nancy (Jerry) Drew of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Margie Neary of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; four grandchildren, Christopher, Kylie, Kennedy, Dylan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Neary; and her two sisters, Kay Conrad, Susie Milz.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at 2 p.m., with Father John Hallowell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
