L’burg meetings now open to in-person viewing

St. Mary’s School in Aurora and St. Lawrence School in Lawrenceburg will merge beginning in 2022-2023 school. They will be combined in one campus at St. Lawrence School, 524 Walnut St., Lawrenceburg.

James Emerson Hough, 90, a native of Paducah, Kentucky, is still going strong. A retired licensed and professional engineer and geologist, he has written a book “Eighty-Nine Years and Still Evolving,” which consists of thought-provoking essays and writings, published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.

New businesses, a move, spurring development
Harrison residents can expect to see some new businesses around town this year. City Councilman and Economic Development Committee Member Mike Mains said Shoe Sensation and Planet Fitness will be coming to the area at the city council meeting on Feb.
Lawrenceburg opening emergency shelter
The city of Lawrenceburg is providing an emergency shelter in response to a winter weather advisory across the region. Individuals or families in need will have access to a warm shelter, blankets, cots, and water.
