U. S. Congressman Greg Pence (R– 6th District) visited the Dearborn County vaccination clinic at the Lawrenceburg Event Center Monday morning. About 15 people, including health department workers who staff the clinic, were on hand. Aurora is beginning to gain sponsors for the Fill the Pool Project. The city agreed to finance $2.5 million toward the project to build a new pool in Aurora.

Through the collaborative efforts of the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department and the staff at the Red Wolf Sanctuary, a juvenile bald eagle was rescued and is now recovering at its new home. A girl passerby spotted the bird of prey near the edge of a road where it was said to have only been able to run up and down hill, across the road, and through a yard.
