Mary Margaret (Geyer) Nedderman, age 88, of Sunman, passed away peacefully at the Chateau of Batesville on March 11, 2021. Mary was born on May 29, 1932, at the Whitlatch Clinic in Milan, Indiana.
Each year, March is designated as National Women’s month with a special presidential proclamation to honor the achievements of American women. This celebration began nationally in 1981 with a week in March being declared as Women’s History Week. In 1987 a new bill was passed which proclaimed the entire month of March as Women’s History Month which helps to celebrate the contributions women had made in a variety of fields.
