Newspapers in a digital age

Sunday was special growing up. For my parents, it meant that the newspaper was on our porch waiting to be read, and for me, it meant the funnies were in color. I would read through them, never quite understanding the humor, but I would pretend like I did. We eventually stopped buying the paper, and it no longer was delivered to our front porch. I stopped reading the funnies, and I grew uninterested in the news since no one around me talked about it.

A Rare Snowfall

A record snowfall for April 21 left the grass and non hard surfaces covered with about 2 inches of snow at Lawrenceburg’s Ludlow Hill Park Wednesday morning. Honor Students

The Ohio County Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted new and returning members on March 2. To become a member of this prestigious group, students had to meet certain academic standards and behavioral guidelines.
