The man accused of robbing the Civista Bank in Lawrenceburg April 26 died two days after being arrested in Hamilton County, Ohio. According to Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens, Stephen Eggert, 57, died April 28 at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

More than 10,000 of the top business and marketing high school students in the world gathered virtually in April to match skills and talent at the DECA International Career Development Conference. When the competitions were done, four students from the Harrison/ Great Oaks program were among the top 20 worldwide in their event.
South Dearborn Schools employees will get a little something for their work. The school board voted May 18 to provide a one-time financial stipend as an act of appreciation for their services.
