Grants will help spruce up Dillsbor

Dillsboro Main Street will award $8,000 again this year in matching grants for facade, awning and signage improvements in downtown Dillsboro. The purpose of the Facade/Awning/Signage Grant Program is to provide financial incentive to commercial or residential building owners located within the Dillsboro Downtown District.

Gibbons received impact award

The American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation recently recognized agency owner Doris Gibbons of Harrison as a Community Impact Award recipient. These award winners are recognized by American Family peers, staff and leadership for dedication to their community through fundraising, volunteerism, board service and advocacy.

Butch Muddiman

Butch Muddiman, passed away on June 17, 2021. at the age of 72. Everyone that knew him was forever touched by his friendliness and his ability to make you laugh and feel loved. He was a great friend and will be missed by many.
