Gregory Brooks, 58, of Sand Run Road in Whitewater Township, was arrested on one count of improper discharge of a firearm and one count of vandalism, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office.

United Way distributing more COVID-19 relief funding
United Way of Greater Cincinnati Southeast Indiana will grant area nonprofits $161,703 to help meet basic needs brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the second time UWGC Southeast Indiana received a COVID-19 Economic Relief Initiative grant from Indiana United Ways, the state professional association that counts UWGC Southeast Indiana as a member.

Sports talk wannabes no longer
They have evolved from “Wannabes” to “Actually Ares,” but Alex Lewis and Chris Schreiber haven’t changed (other than being a little older.) Schreiber and Lewis, both 28, started Sports Talk Wannabes in 2016 as a way to act on and stay involved in the local sports scene, particularly high school sports. They are 2011 graduates of Harrison High School, where they were members of the Wildcat football team.

2020-2021 SWOC girls bowling all-stars These girls bowlers earned All-Southwest Ohio Conference honors for the 2020-2021 season (Harrison bowlers in bold): Coach of the Year Trevor Ward, Harrison Under Ward, Harrison won its second consecutive outright SWOC girls championship.
