VEVAY - Former Switzerland County High School girls basketball standout Brooke Todd is taking over as Lady Pacers varsity coach. A 2020 graduate of Hanover College, where she was a 4-year starter for the Panthers’ women’s basketball team, under coach John Jones, Todd led Switzerland County to its last Class 2A sectional championship, in 2015.
The Ohio County Historical Museum is sponsoring a Union Monument Clean Up Day in Union Cemetery behind Rising Sun High School at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 17. The project will end when monument is spruced up and completed.
AURORA - Aurora’s 18th annual Knight Flight 5K Run/ Walk Saturday, July 17, marks the second leg of the 2021 Southeast Indiana Racing Circuit series, benefitting area high school cross country. The 5-race series, chiptimed by Stuart Road Racing LLC, gets back on the road this summer after being contested virtually in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
