Aurora’s God and Country Independence Day event at Gabbard Riverfront Park featured numerous vendor and informational booths, craft making (drums and flutes) for children, a Revolutionary War-era character re-enactment and finally a concert before the 10 p.m. fuse was lit for the annual firework display. Aurora Mayor Mark Drury and wife Margaret speak before the town’s annual firework display.
