Before I began my career at the Aurora Police Department in 2004, I attended the Great Oaks police academy in Sharonville, Ohio. This is where I first learned about the importance of community-oriented policing. Community policing, or community-oriented policing, is a strategy of policing that focuses on developing relationships with community members.

Insurer Award

Doris Gibbons was presented this plaque for the Insurance Professional of the Year from Insurance Professional of Greater Cincinnati on June 22. The 44 th annual Community Campaign on behalf of the area’s mentally disadvantaged organized by Monsignor William Kreis Council 1231 of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, back on May 7 and 8 was another remarkable success netting $7,100.70, further enhancing the continuing legacy as a truly caring an compassionate community, particularly in lieu of the COVID-19 pandemic.
