EC THROWERS RE-BREAK RECORDS

East Central High School throwers Leo Maxwell and Jessie Stenger were at the top of their games again at the Lakota West Invitational, on Cincinnati’s north side, Tuesday, April 20. Before the cold rain changed to sleet and snow immediately after the meet, Maxwell brought the heat, shattering his former school record with a discus throw of 183’6” on another 2-win night. Stenger won both discus and shot put again, as well, including surpassing her own EC record of 133’0.5” in the disc. East Central boys and girls squads both finished third in the 10-team meet.
