South Dearborn High School football senior offensive tackle Andy Daugherty (seated, center) recently signed an NCAA Division III letter of intent with Franklin College. Joining him, also seated, from left, were grandfather Jon Libbert, mom Beth Daugherty, dad Chris Daugherty and brother Jacob Daugherty. Second row, from left, are SD coaches Kenny Higgins, Brayden Milish, head coach Rand Ballart, Albert Larkin and Jackson Bond. Andy earned 3 varsity football letters for the Knights and was named team captain, earning All-County and All-EIAC honors, SD’s Most Valuable Lineman award, Mental Attitude award and Special Scholar Awards. In the weight room, he’s also a member of the Ultimate Knight Club, as well as the owner of a 4.0 cumulative GPA in the classroom. Franklin’s Grizzlies compete in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. SD ATHLETICS

South Dearborn High School girls soccer senior Graycie Collins (center) recently signed an NCAA Division III national letter of intent with Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. Joining her, from left, were brother Garrett Collins, dad Allen Collins, mom Chelsie Collins and sister Gwen Collins. Earning 10 varsity letters over her SD career, Graycie earned 4 monograms in soccer, 2 in swimming and will become a 4-year letter winner in track and field this spring. Ranked No. 3 in SD’s senior class, she is a Merit Scholar Award recipient, multiple Academic Special Scholar Award winner and 2-time ISCA Academic All-State honoree in soccer. She will enroll in the Pre-Physical Therapy program at MSJ. MSJ’s Lions compete in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. SD ATHLETICS
