MADISON - Rising Sun girls basketball’s second conference win of the season - 47-26 at Madison Shawe Memorial last Friday, Jan. 29 - served as a springboard to Wednesday night’s (late) Class A sectional.

Boys win twice in return from pandemic pause

Janet Ruth Thies, formerly Janet Hayes, age 82, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away peacefully in her home with her family at her side on January 19, 2021, following a sudden and brief illness. Janet was a proud and strong Breast Cancer Survivor but was unable to overcome advanced Pancreatic Cancer.
