Owner of a confederate flag display speaks out
HARRISON – An owner of one of the confederate flag displays in Harrison has spoken out, according to recent reports.Steven Hickey, a former Harrison police officer, of 950 Harrison Ave., has two confederate flag displays in his yard, one flagpole of which has a sign reading “Harrison zoning allows junkyards,” and an arrow pointing to neighboring Hilltop Performance Off-Road, 1002 Harrison Ave.Hilltop is an off-road shop for jeeps and trucks, established in 2003 by owner Ethan Efkeman.
