LAWRENCEBURG – A long-time resident and business owner, who is often seen walking throughout downtown, is this year’s Lawrenceburg Legacy recipient.Richard Martin, who has owned the Trading Post on High Street for about 30 years, was presented honor by Mayor Kelly Mollaun at the Community Picnic April 27 in Civic Park.Besides owning the story, Martin is a musician who, Mollaun said, has played music throughout the area and now signs karaoke on Wednesdays in Rising Sun and Fridays at the Captain’s Tavern in Lawrenceburg, just up the block from his store.“He said, ‘why me?’” Mollaun said in introducing Martin.
