The Dearborn County Republican Party’s precinct committee members met recently to elect leadership for the Dearborn County Republican Central Committee to serve for the next four years. West High Street and Front Street is schedueld to be closed this Friday, March 19, weather permitting, so concrete can be brought to the construction site of the Whiskey City Apartments. Lawrenceburg has given the OK for the concrete delivery between 3 a.m.

The city of Harrison and Harrison Township hosted a public hearing for the purpose of three businesses’ admission to the Joint Economic Development District. The JEDD is an agreement between the city and the township in order to promote economic development.
Erika Wells, 16, a sophomore at East Central High School, is a delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders on March 20 and 21. The congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields.
