Girls Scout Troop 47826 from Sunman Elementary School were selling cookies outside the BP station in Penntown. For the past six weeks, Ohio County resident Susan Sattler has been volunteering at the Dearborn County Event Center where she is helping with the COVID-19 vaccination clinic. Sattler typically donates one or two of those days, helping with the administration of about 400 vaccinations each day.
A lot of money could soon flow into the area courtesy of the recently signed $1.9-trillion coronavirus relief package. The money is being funneled to the states, counties, cities, towns and village all across the country.
