Warmer weather marks the beginning of road work. Commutes in and around Harrison may get messy due to construction projects on the roadways.
There will soon be more housing in Dillsboro. The city and developers of the just started Serenity Pines subdivision broke ground May 13 in what they hope will be about 40 new homes.
Saturday, May 1, was a celebration for three businesses and a ribbon cutting in downtown Aurora. The ribbon cutting sponsored by Main Street Aurora welcomed Uncle Steel’s Brews, 315 Second St.
The Greendale Pool is opening on Saturday, May 29. Located in Greendale Park at corner of Nowlin Avenue and Park Street, city officials decided not to open the pool last year during the pandemic.
The Board of Works for Greendale approved one day recycling pickup unanimously at its meeting on May 12. City Manager Steve Lampert said the pickup will be on Thursday as opposed to picking up the north end on Thursday and the south end, Valley Woods, Oberting and Ind.
