There is a three-way race for mayor in Aurora. Incumbent Mark Drury is on the ballot as a write-in with Democrat Melvin “Mel” Kremer and Republican Patrick Schwing.

Democrat Christine Craig, 56, is currently Greendale’s clerk treasurer and human resources director. “My plans moving forward for Greendale are to continue to increase our earned interest and investment revenue,” said Craig.
Tony Abbott and Democrat Jane Pope are challenging each other for the Lawrenceburg Council District 1 position. Tony Abbott, 64, is the current council member in his third term.
Ryan Goode, 40, faces Democrat Patti Louks, 52, for Greendale Council District 1. Goode said he plans to use “his experience and active involvement in the community which make me well-prepared to represent you from day one.
Two candidates are running for Greendale Council District 2: Democrat Al Abdon, 68, and Republican Richard T. Steuer Jr.
Candidates for Lawrenceburg City Council District 4 are Democrat Dennis R. Carr and Republican incumbent Lennie Fryman.
Two candidates are running for Lawrenceburg Council District 2, Democrat Dylan Liddle and incumbent Republican Justin Noppert. Dylan Liddle, 23, was born and raised in District 2.
“We have been working with a non-profit developer for three years to qualify for tax credits (for senior housing),” he said. “We should hear the results for the latest round of credits in mid-November. Council and myself have decided that if we don’t qualify this time then we will put out an (request for proposal) to search for a qualified developer.”
WEST HARRISON – The Indiana Department of Transportation will install a new all-way stop for the westbound Interstate 74 off-ramp to U.S. 52.
Dave Hall, 39, is in a race with Democrat Karen Powers, 69, in Greendale City Council’s District 3. “I am interested in maintaining the quality of our community,” said Hall in response to a questionnaire to candidates from The Register.
