Damar Hamlin scholarship honors fire chief that saved his life

HARRISON – Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin surprised Fire Chief Rob Hursong with a scholarship in his name, nearly a year after he assisted in saving the football player’s life.The revelation came at a dinner Hamlin hosted for Hursong, a paramedic for the UC Health special events team, and nine other medical staff that responded when he collapsed on the field at Paycor Stadium in January.

Oakland Hills public works session scheduled, original hearing canceled
