It will be a good-bye of sorts this weekend in Moores Hill. Residents, former students of Moores Hill Elementary School and others will gather to say so long to the school closing after this school year.

Aurora has secured the funding to repair a few more of its streets starting later this year. The city was awarded $710,183.82 in a Community Crossings grant from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), which is a 75% match for the total project.

Brenda Osman wears many hats in the education field. She is the family and consumer science teacher at East Central High School; serves as department chair of four people; and is president of South Dearborn Education Association, an office she has held for about seven years.
