HARRISON – An opposition group to the proposed Oakland Hills subdivision has released eight “middle ground” compromise points it hopes the city will consider in regards to future development.The move comes after the planning commission’s public works session with Gradison Land Development on Nov.

LAWRENCEBURG – The Kennedy family has donated more toys for children who are involved in emergencies.This year, the stuffed toys went to the Lawrenceburg Emergency Rescue Unit to pass out to help relieve the stress children feel when under an emergency.The donations are in memory of Michael Kennedy, a former Lawrenceburg police and fire chief who was instrumental in building the departments to what they are today.“Mike didn’t express reasons for his actions, he just did things.

LAWRENCEBURG – An East Central High School and an Oldenburg Academy are this year’s Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipients from Dearborn County.Alexandra Seubert of EC and Lily Dennis of Oldenburg were named Monday by the Dearborn County Community Foundation to the honor.“Alexandra and Lily epitomize what the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship is all about: community involvement, academic achievement, character and leadership,” said Fred McCarter, executive director of DCF.
