Class’ treats intended to help K-9 units
A class at Harrison High School is giving back by making dog treats. Students in JamieLyn Johnson’s law and public safety class carefully crafted thousands of homemade dog treats and have already raised over $600.
Grad nets academy appointment
A passion for aviation and engineering led 2020 Harrison High School graduate Jacob Guilfoyle to an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. He will join the class of 2025 as they report to the academy in Colorado Springs for basic training in June.

Defending KOI Auto Parts UMP Modified division track champion David Spille, of Harrison, returned to victory lane in the No. 711 car April 17 at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
Wildcats softball show plenty of fight
Spring was slowly regressing to winter when Summer stepped up. Summer Jacobs, the senior centerfielder for Harrison High School’s softball team, made a couple of diving catches to thwart Fairfield’s hopes for a comeback and give the Wildcats a 10-5 road win April 20.
