INDIANAPOLIS – Dearborn County Councilmember Elizabeth Morris was elected district president of the Association of Indiana Counties’ Southeast District during the annual meeting in Jefferson County.

LAWRENCEBURG – Outgoing Dearborn County Retired Teachers Association President Judy Mosier rang the ceremonial recess bell for almost the last time as the group elected new officers for the next four years at its annual spring meeting on April 15 at Greendale Middle School.

LAWRENCEBURG – Visitors to Southeast Indiana now have a new way to find their way around using MapMe, an interactive map app sponsored by the Dearborn County Convention, Visitor & Tourism Bureau.

RISING SUN – The Ohio County Community Foundation recently awarded $9,574.97 in Teachers’ Classroom Tools Grants to several teachers in the Rising-Sun Ohio County School Corp.

RISING SUN – The Ohio County Community Foundation awarded a total of $43,242 in Community Grants to 12 local non-profits during the first grant cycle of 2025. Each organization could request up to $5,000.

CROSBY TOWNSHIP - Members of Shaker Farms Garden Club met at the Harrison Township Civic Center on March 26 and welcomed Gwen Jackson, a National Garden Club member from Michigan transplanted to Harrison.
