The Indiana House of Representatives recently voted unanimously to advance legislation co-authored by State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) granting surviving spouses the ability to obtain a Purple Heart license plate in honor of their loved ones.

We have all been there before: it is the middle of the night or the weekend and you have hurt yourself or your child is not feeling well, and you do not know whether to seek emergency care immediately or to wait and see. Dear Editor, Despite a global pandemic, Dearborn County residents shared the true meaning of Christmas with children in need this past holiday season. Generosity throughout Southeast Indiana resulted in 11,488 shoebox gifts collected at curbside drop-off locations for the Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child.
