Be The One will host a 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, May 22. The purpose of the 5K is to raise funds for the organization which assists adoptive families.

The Dillsboro Prayer Walkers in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life will sell Mother’s Day hanging baskets and herbs, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, may 8, at the Doctor’s Building at North and Rose streets, in Dillsboro.

The heart doctors with Mercy Health – The Heart Institute, Lawrenceburg, are moving to a different office as of May 1. Their new office is at 360 Walnut St., Lawrenceburg.

According to the U. S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) 2019 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 19.3 million people aged 18 or older had a substance use disorder in that past year.
