The Harrison Fire Explorers Post 200 is ready to kick off a new year after being dormant due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Explorers are designed for youth to have a place to expand their knowledge and curiosity in the fire and EMS service.

SUBMITTED PHOTO Thanks to three area grantors, The Brookville Foundation, Dearborn Community Foundation and Vevay-Switzerland County Foundation, Safe Passage has a much more dependable vehicle to transport larger families and for moving clients and personal belongings to safer residences. Staff can also use it for large donations or for outreach events with bulky equipment.
Planning has started for an in-person Dearborn County 4-H fair June 21-26, complete with midway and fair food. 4-H leadership will work closely with the Dearborn County Health Department to ensure the safety of all participants and fair patrons.
