Loving Hearts Hospice volunteers needed in Southeast Indiana
“Our volunteers are the heart of our ministry and it is because of them that we are able to provide complete services to our patients,” said Rev. Patti Warning, chaplain and volunteer coordinator at Loving Hearts Hospice in Lawrenceburg and serving Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio and Ripley counties.
Garden club decorates library
Diane Packard and Brenda Manger, members of Shaker Farms Garden Club, filled the two educational display cabinets at the Harrison Branch of the Public Library with an interesting collection of “Objects made from Plants.”
New trail route opens
The entrance to the popular Timberlakes Trail in Miami Whitewater Forest has undergone a design reroute, providing a more sustainable and scenic experience for Great Parks trail users. The nearly half-mile addition extends the existing nature trail from 1.4 to 2.1 miles.
