Students’ capstone surveys Native American site
The 2021 Land Surveying graduates at Cincinnati State Community and Technical College have been busy bringing history back to life near Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg. A group of five students with the help of the professor Carol Morman recently completed work to provide a more visitor friendly environment to a known Native American site.

Library’s program encourages literacy, learning
Hamilton County kids and teens are invited to read, learn, and earn prizes with the Discover Summer program at the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library. The 2021 summer learning program runs through July 31. Youth can visit a library location, including the Harrison branch, to pick up their free Discover Summer To-Go pack:

The American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation recently recognized agency owner Doris Gibbons of Harrison as a Community Impact Award recipient. June Events and Classes Harrison Branch Library UMC Food Ministries The Harrison Branch is partnering with UMC Food Ministries this summer to distribute UMC Meal Boxes for Youth (18 years of age and younger unless on an IEP). Shelf-stable and ready to eat meal boxes contain seven dinners and seven snacks.
