Workers in Aurora watched the river recede and then got to work. The Aurora Street Department started flood cleanup on Saturday after the Ohio River started back down out of flood stage.
U. S. Congressman Greg Pence (R– 6th District) visited the Dearborn County vaccination clinic at the Lawrenceburg Event Center Monday morning. A number of projects are underway or planned to help bring more businesses to Greendale, according to Al Abdon, executive director, Greendale Redevelopment Commission. The plans are detailed in the Greendale Redevelopment Commission’s 2021 Strategic Plan.
Aurora is beginning to gain sponsors for the Fill the Pool Project. The city agreed to finance $2.5 million toward the project to build a new pool in Aurora.
