Abrams gives testimony on the Law and Order Act

Southwest Schools raise fees to pay-to-play
The Southwest Local School Board voted unanimously to raise pay to play fees for the 2021-2022 school year. Fees will be raised $50 per sport.
Aviation maintenance program lands at Diamond Oaks
Starting this fall, high school juniors can learn to work on planes and jets, preparing for FAA certifications and earning college credit by the time they graduate. The Aviation Maintenance Technician program offered by Great Oaks at the Laurel Oaks campus in Wilmington is expanding to the Diamond Oaks Career Campus in Dent.

Harrison girls trying to bridge the STEM gap
STEM classes and careers have been historically dominated by men, but students at Harrison High School are working to change that. Nine girls in Angela Elsasser’s Project Lead the Way engineering program wanted to find a way to encourage young girls to get interested in science, engineering, technology and math, or STEM.

Harrison to receive $2.3M in COVID relief funds
The city of Harrison is expected to receive $2.33 million dollars in COVID-19 relief. According to the National League of Cities, congress passes a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package that provides funding to 19,000 cities, towns and villages.
