Janine C. Nienaber, loving mother of Joseph Nienaber and Jillian Nienaber Bowers, loving sister of the late Ronald (Nana) Jackson, Thomas (Diane) Jackson, the late Joseph D. (Donna), Marcia (Bradley) Rupel, and Robert (Conni) Jackson. Also survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. and Virginia Jackson, and Joseph W. Nienaber, father of her children.

On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Wanda Marie (McQueen) Combs was reunited with her loved ones to rejoice with Christ in Heaven. Wanda was known by many as a “character” with a self-proclaimed “fat and sassy” attitude. She was a woman of faith, strength, patience and fortitude. Her quick wit, contagious cackle and warm smile with those twinkling blue eyes were the first and last things you would remember about her. As her youngest daughter, what I remember are the many nights she spent kneeling at the side of her bed praying for her children, her friends, family and her church.
