Spring was slowly regressing to winter when Summer stepped up. Summer Jacobs, the senior centerfielder for Harrison High School’s softball team, made a couple of diving catches to thwart Fairfield’s hopes for a comeback and give the Wildcats a 10-5 road win April 20.
Every game is important, but some, as they say, are more important than others. This week is an example.

Ronald Scott Kercheval “Scott”, of Harrison, passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 57. He was born in Cincinnati on May 11, 1963 to Ronald and Judith (Rapking) Kercheval.
The Republican primary election is set to take place on May 4. Harrison voters will decide who will represent the Republican Party in the race for city council in November. There are no democratic candidates.

There will be no virtual school next year for Southwest Local School District students.
