Harrison High School junior Evan Metzger has qualified to wrestle as a member of the Ohio team in the 2021 National 16-under Greco-Roman Tournament in Fargo, North Dakota. He will wrestle in the 126-pound weight class.
Hamilton County kids and teens are invited to read, learn, and earn prizes with the Discover Summer program at the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library. Dorothy Jean “Dot” (Greenham) Elrod, of Harrison, passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 95. She was born on Feb. 22, 1926, in Harrison, Ohio, to William and Mary E. (Doneworth) Greenham, and was the first of four children – Betty, Jane and Bo. Dot graduated William Henry Harrison High school in 1944 and married her high school sweetheart, Ira (Bud) Elrod on April 27, 1946. Together they raised four children: Susan, Jeff, Marcia and Todd.
Dorothy (Provo) Kremer, age 95, of North Port, Florida, passed away on Dec. 19, 2020. Dorothy is survived by her husband Louis Kremer, her daughter Judy and many siblings and other relatives and friends.
The time has come around for the review of Harrison’s charter. Six months ago, nine members of the community, including the mayor and a member of city council, were selected to review the charter and recommend any necessary amendments to the charter.
