Ann Osborne Benson, 85, of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, formerly of Bright, Indiana, passed peacefully from this earth March 14, 2023, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center.

She was the daughter of the late Gillis and Martha Osborne, the widow of the late John William Benson Sr., and the mother of John Benson and Ronnie and Melissa Benson Owens.

Ann spent 14 years as head cashier and bookkeeper for Kroger Co. in Harrison and retired from the dietary department of Rockcastle Regional Hospital Dietary Department. 

Ann loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved to read, travel, and make new friends who instantly became family.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, her mother and father-in-law, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a special nephew.

Ann left behind many family and friends who loved her very much including her children, four siblings (and spouses), three in-laws (and spouses), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ann requested no service and will be buried at Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio. Arrangements will be by Dowell & Martin Funeral Home.
