Larry Eugene Cook, 72, originally of Lawrenceburg, Ind., but resided in Batesville, Ind., next to Liberty Park with his long time best friend Lisa Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was born August 6, 1951, in Milan, Ind., son of the late Elmer Cook and Blanche (Vinson) Cook.
 Larry loved to fish and enjoyed watching old movies. He worked at New Horizons in Batesville, Ind., for many years.
 He is survived by his sister, Mary (Terry) Cornett of Lawrenceburg; best friend, Lisa Campbell of Batesville; and was an uncle to many.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Blanche Cook; brother, Don Cook; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Anna (Sturgeon) Cook; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Gertrude (Collier) Vinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins..
 Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 12 p.m.
 Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Ind.
