Robert “Bob” Putnam, 93, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born October 15, 1930, in Silver Grove, Ky., son of the late William and Hattie (Collins) Putnam.
 Bob was a past member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved animals. He was a total sports fan, especially of the Kentucky Wildcats. He worked as a teacher.
 He is survived by his son, Curtis (Susan) Putnam of Fairview, Tenn.; daughter, Garnett Cavanaugh of Lawrenceburg; four grandchidlren, Garrett Cavanaugh, Matt Putnam, Luke Putnam, Caleb Putnam; and 11 great-grandchildren.
 He was preceded in death by his father, William Putnam; mother, Hattie Mae Putnam; loving wife, Vivian Putnam; grandson, Adam Cavanaugh; and several siblings.
 Graveside funeral services will be held at Greendale Cemetery, Friday, May 17, 2024, at 1 p.m.
 Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Ind.
