Frances Cole, 97, of Sunman, Ind., passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at Ripley Crossing in Milan. She was born on October 19, 1926, in Hazelwood, Ohio, a daughter to William and Montie Randolph Roy. Frances married George Cole and they spent 64 years together before his death on February 11, 2010. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and time spent with her family. Frances especially loved the Lord and encouraged everyone to attend church with her. Now she has found her peace.
 Survivors include her five children, George (Judith) Cole, Joyce (Donald) Davis, Brenda (Allen) Jellison, Judy (David) Wilson, and Robert (Marsha) Cole; 15 grandchildren, Lisa, Jerry, David, Mike, Susan, Julee, Tracy, Allen Christopher, Christy, Noah, Eric, Joseph, Jacob, Nathan and Natasha; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Bill Lucas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings.
 Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at St. Paul Cemetery, 8930 State Road 101, Sunman, IN 47041.
