Cody Scott McCool, 36, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born September 4, 1987, in Lawrenceburg, son of the late Cevin and Cindy (Goble) McCool.
 Cody enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He worked at Townsend Tree Service.
 He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Dick and Sue Goble of Lawrenceburg; sister, Cassie (Tim) Mink of Carmel, Ind.; fiance, Denise Sweet of Milan, Ind.; two nephews, Theodore and Weston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
 Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ginny Hizer officiating.
 Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Ind.
