William G. Lytle of Harrison, Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2024, at the young age of 80. He was born on March 23, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Kathryn (Keeley) and Adrian Lytle. He married Jacinte (Geoffroy) in 1987 after his previous marriage to Patricia Kolb (Cook). His daughter Jill Beitz had two children, Katrina (Zivick) who lives in Virginia, and David who preceded Bill in death, as well as his parents and sister Joyce (Reese). He is survived by his sister Dale (Lillian Wilburn) with whom he was very close.
Bill loved working in the family business called Economy Coal. They bought and sold coal from Kentucky, Utah, and other states. After attending Transylvania University, he picked up the accent and fit right in with the coal owners of Hazard, Ky., and others. If you knew Bill, he always had a story to tell. Perhaps you’d like to share one of his.
