Lula Mae (aka Lou) McAllister Rieman Wadsworth was born September 30, 1934, to Wm Albert and Clara Sprague McAllister and departed this life to her heavenly home on November 29, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, Ky., at the age of 89 years, 1 month, 29 days. She was married to Maurice Rieman on July 1, 1960. Two more children, Beth and Melissa (Mimi), were added to her three from a previous marriage, Michelle (Shelly), Cheryl (Shari), and Joe Reese. After Maurice’s death in 1994, she married Bob Wadsworth. They lived in Florida several years until his death. She then built a house on the family farm on Stewart Ridge, Ohio County, Ind.
 She worked at Rising Sun school corporation, starting in 1970 in various jobs, retiring in 1995 as the treasurer to the superintendent. She sold Mary Kay cosmetics in her spare time. She was a faithful member of Aberdeen Community Church (formerly Aberdeen United Methodist Church) where she taught Sunday school classes and served on several committees. She was always ON TIME, immaculately dressed, and as a friend said “all dolled up” looking like she just came off a magazine cover.
 She was a good friend to everyone, sending cards for all occasions, especially birthdays, trying to get hers sent before Mimi sent hers. She wrote thank you notes for everything. Beth remembers her teaching her how to cook when Beth was 10 years old for 4-H. 50 years later when Beth cooked meals for her, she would ALWAYS call to tell her if it was good, bad, or missing something. She loved and had close relationships with all her children, 13 grandchildren, and adored her 18 great-grandchildren.
 She is survived by daughters Michelle (Shelly) Mooney (husband Mike) of Rustburg, Va., Beth and Melissa (Mimi), and son Joe (wife Holly) of Stewart Ridge Rising Sun; grandchildren: Danielle (Greg) Saunders, Jamie (Jamie) Flack of Rustburg, Markus Flack, Allison (Mike) Tweedy of Lynchburg, Va., Jennifer (Tommy) Shaupe, Evington, Va.; Shaun Kerr Steamboat Springs, Colo., Jesse Hill, Lawrenceburg, Ind., Joey Reese, Adam Reese, Rising Sun, Rissi Terrill, Lawrenceburg, Riki (Robby) Karaus, Bennington, Ind., Tony Niccum, Rising Sun, Jeff Reeves, Lawrenceburg; great-grandchildren: Dillon Saunders, Cori Saunders, Jesse Saunders, Taylor Saunders, all from Virginia, Memphis Hill, Jessalyn Hill, Lawrenceburg, Layton Reese, Mya Reese, Daylyn Reese, Conan Reese, Rising Sun, Noah Reeves, Logan Reeves, Lawrenceburg, Leah Karaus, Owen Karaus, Bennington, Summer Tweedy, Sophie Tweedy, Elsa Shupe, Harry Shupe, all from Virginia. Preceded in death by daughter Cheryl (Shari) Hill, Lawrenceburg, grandson Jeremy Savage, Lynchburg, her husbands, parents, brothers Robert and Ronald McAllister.
 Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun. Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Sunday, December 3.
