​​​​​​​Alana Fay “Lannie” Cummins

Alana Fay “Lannie” Cummins, 62, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023.

She was born Sept. 15, 1961, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, daughter of Marcella Sue (Jefferson) Kincade and the late James David Kincade.

Lannie was the owner and operator at Cummins Cafe Delights for nine years. She worked at Argosy, now Hollywood, Casino, for 14 years. She owned a cleaning business, ABC Cleaning. She coached girls softball, both league and travel. She liked to cook and was a collector of Many Things. She loved spending time with family.

She is survived by her mother, Marcella Sue Kincade; husband, Randy Cummins of Aurora, Indiana; son, Nathan Brooks (Sarah Beth) of Moores Hill, Indiana; daughter, Sarah Brooks-Rulli (Nick) of Bellevue, Kentucky; brother, Wesley Kincade (Carman) of Cleves, Ohio; two sisters, Darla Henderson of Seattle, Washington, and Jeannie Hutton (Donnie “Fudd”) of Moores Hill, Indiana; two grandchildren, Kadan Brooks of Harrison, Ohio, and Khloe Brooks of Moores Hill, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James David Kincade.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at 6 p.m., with Pastor Tim Russell officiating.
