Kathy A. Brooks, 73, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023.\

She was born March 3, 1950, in Batesville, Indiana, daughter of the late Norman Armstrong and Mary (Funck) Armstrong.

Kathy worked as a cashier for Kroger retiring after many years of service. She was a member of the Aurora Legion Auxiliary.

Kathy is survived by her loving spouse Dan Brooks, brother, Alan (Marilyn) Armstrong; sisters, Jan (Terry) Allen, Julie (Rob) Billingsley; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Bryce, Brandon, Michele, Kristen, Kelly and Kassidy; sister-in-law, Connie Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Mary Armstrong; brother, John Armstrong.

Friends will be received Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, 5 p.m. – 80 p.m. at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St., Aurora, Indiana. Services will be held at the funeral home, on Tuesday at noon. Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
