Edward Lee “Eddie” Byrd, 64, born on Jan. 20, 1959, and died on April 30, 2023, Lawrenceburg.
Beloved son of the late Eva McCarthy (the late Jim) and Willie Byrd (the late Mary), dear brother of Willie Byrd (Lorryn), Danny Byrd (Carolyn), Benny Byrd (Sheila), Brenda Messer (the late Russ) and the late Robin Patrick (Tony), half-brother to Tony Byrd, stepbrother to Jackie Adams (Leroy) and Darryl Fields (the late Lou), also survived by many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by his sister-in-law Debbie Byrd.
Eddie enjoyed music and playing guitar. He was well known in his hometown of Madison, Indiana, for riding in his golf cart and spreading love and smiles everywhere he went. He had countless friends in the ResCare and Ridgewood communities.
