Shirley Gardner-Mulligan, 73, of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022. She was born Dec. 10, 1948, in Los Angeles, California, daughter of the late James and Jean (Barker) Riggs.

Shirley was an antique dealer and owned her own craft business. In her free time she loved to make jewelry, go fishing, cook and bake. She loved her plants and flower beds.

She is survived by her three daughters, Samantha Kennedy of Greendale, Indiana, Sander Klepinger of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tonya Albright of Evansville, Indiana; son, Jonathan Gardner of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; sister, Patricia Sunderhaus of Sterling Heights, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Andrew Klepinger, Alexandria Albright, Tyler Kennedy, Doneisha Klepinger, Isaiah Klepinger, Peaches Klepinger, Veronica Albright, Patrick Albright, Matthew Albright, Evelynn Albright, Anthony Albright; and two great–grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jean Riggs; husband, Tom Mulligan; son, James Pavey;and her sister, Linda Ammons.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 at 1pm.

Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Bright, Indiana.
