Sandi Gentry, 70, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022. She was born July 1, 1952, in Batesville, Indiana, daughter of Lois (Kincade) Doemeland and the late Cleo Willoughby.

Sandi was an avid sports fan at her grandchildren’s sports. She enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. She liked to cook and bake. Family was everything to her. She worked as a school bus driver at numerous Dearborn County schools, Lawrenceburg Community Schools Corp. being the most recent.

She is survived by her loving husband, Everett Gentry of Aurora, Indiana; her mother, Lois Doemeland of Aurora, Indiana; three daughters, Lori Gentry of Aurora, Indiana, Lisa (Sebastien) Lautru of Greendale, Indiana, Jo (Casey Nanz) Gentry of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; two sons, Chad (Shanna) Gentry of Aurora, Indiana, Josh (Michelle) Gentry of Greendale, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, Clayton, Asher, Lucy, Neve, Brady, Mason, Spencer, Mannon, Gabrielle, Gavin; two great–grandchildren, London, Korra; and her three brothers, Jack (Sherry) Willoughby of Aurora, Indiana, Larry Willoughby of Madison, Indiana, Scott (Jennifer) Willoughby of Aurora, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cleo Willoughby, and one brother, Donnie Willoughby.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Greendale Middle School, 200 Tiger Blvd., Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, 455 Ridge Ave., Greendale, Indiana, on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at 11 a.m., with Pastor DJ Gilliland officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
