SALLY ANN MILLER PROFANT

 Sally Ann Miller Profant, 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 26, 1938, in Columbus, Ind., daughter of the late Hubert Frederick Miller and Eva Leo (Littlefield) Miller.
 Sally was a member of Eastern Star and High School Reunion Committee. She played clarinet in the marching band and was a Baton Twirler at Lawrenceburg High School. She was a dedicated, inspiring teacher at Ivy Tech Community College for 26 years, where she taught keyboarding, word processing, and business education classes. She enjoyed puzzle books and playing Solitaire. She loved spending time with her family, and she loved animals, especially dogs.
 She is survived by her daughter, Michele Profant (Dawn Hoosier) of Cincinnati; and two granddaughters, Olivia Profant Preston and Karly Profant Preston. Her dog Mimi will miss her dearly.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Frederick Miller and Eva Leo Miller, who passed in 2003 and 2008 respectively.
 Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1 p.m.
 Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Ind. Afterwards, family and friends will gather at Willie’s Restaurant in Hidden Valley Lake for food and drinks to further celebrate Sally’s life.
 Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Sally’s own mother who was a breast cancer survivor.
